Why Isn't My Aweber List Doing So Well?

Many internet marketers will build a list. This is simply collecting names and email addresses and then promoting them with offers or your own product to make money. Aweber is a great email marketing software. How many subscribers in Aweber do you have?

If you have over 10,000+ Aweber leads, you will pay $149 a month. Having 10,000+ strong leads can make you alot of money and the $149 a month will almost be nothing. However, what happens if you build the wrong list? Let me explain a little more...

When you have a landing page, people across the world can opt in. Most people will offer a free product in exchange for the name and email address of a potential, down the line customer. What if people from Nigeria, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Sri Lanka enter their details? Well, there's nothing wrong with this at all. However, from my 3 year online experience of list building and product launching, it is very rare for people from these countries to purchase anything from you. All they want is the free gift you offer and that's it. You can send them 100 emails promoting your product. What happens? They simply do not purchase at all.

A friend of mine had a list of 13,000+ Aweber leads and he was paying $149 a month to store these leads. He wasen't doing so well with his sales. When I told him to check his list and see how many subscribers are from Nigeria, he had 5,000. He deleted the 5,000 leads of Nigerian subscribers and it bought it down to 8,000 leads. He then deleted leads from Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and some from Pakistan. This bought his list down to 4,500. Having 4,500 Aweber leads costs $49 a month. This is a $100 reduction in his Aweber costs.

So, if you're thinking that your list isn't doing as well as it should be, you might want to delete subscribers from these countries. They just take up space on your list and it's more of a cost. From my online experience, people from Nigeria, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and alot of from Pakistan will not purchase any online products. They used to keep asking me for my product for free and with all respect, the English was terrible and they were very rude. I eventually gave up and just deleted them all from my list. This halved my list, but I'm glad, because it means I am now paying less for my Aweber at a nice affordable rate.

Also, Paypal is not accepted in Bangladesh and Nigeria anyway. So, if you were selling a product via Paypal, they won't be able to purchase unless you use a different payment method such as Alertpay.

Bottom line... From my experience online and asking many others, it is very rare to get any sales from these countries. I asked a few top worldwide internet marketers and they said that they have never had a sale from Nigeria at all and they actually delete subscribers from Nigeria on a weekly basis which can go up to about 300.

People from Nigeria will not purchase any internet marketing products that you have to offer. I have actually asked Aweber numerous times if there is a way to stop subscribers being address via the form from certain countries like Nigeria. They said it's not possible. I once banned my site in Nigeria, hoping that they wouldn't be able to come to my site. What did they do? They used a proxy server to get around it.

So, if you want to clear up your list, delete all subscribers from Nigeria. They are not needed and they won't make you a single dime. All they want is stuff for free. It's very rare to people to purchase internet marketing products from places like Pakistan, Bangladesh etc. BUT, no one at all will ever purchase from Nigeria. One internet marketer who has been online for 16 years had launched many, many products and even though his list stretches to over 250,000+, he has never had a sale from Nigeria at all.

So, if you find you lists not doing so well, take this into consideration and start deleting!
